AIA Vitality increases discount to 12.5%

From 1st December 2015 customers who take out Vitality with their life, TPD and trauma insurance will enjoy a 12.5% initial discount on their premiums. This is compared to 7.5% previously.

Vitality members will also be entitled to new benefits and rewards. Vitality have teamed up with some new Retail Gift Card Partners – JB Hi-Fi, Rebel Sport, Woolworths and Caltex. Existing partners such as Myer have also increased potential rewards with the ability to earn up to $650 worth of vouchers each year through Vitality, up from $400. Flight discounts are also increased with Qantas boosting their discount to Platinum members to 50%.

Vitality has also launched Active Benefits which offer frequent, ongoing incentives to provide extra motivation each week. The first of these rewards is from Boost Juice. When 250 physical activity points are earned in one week Vitality members will receive a $7.50 Boost Juice Voucher.

The changes also include increased discounts and cashbacks on selected gyms like Virgin Active and Anytime Fitness as well as on a range of fitness devices and spa treatments. Chemmart Vitality Health Checks also will now be free, making it easier to earn points.

Vitality can be added to AIA policies at a cost of $10 a month. Depending on the status achieved by earning health points the initial discount of 12.5% will move to 0% or 20% over time. Find out the cost of an AIA policy at Compare Quotes.
