TAL have received the prestigious 2018 Insurance Company of the Year Award from Strategic Insight and the Association of Financial Advisers (AFA).
This is the second consecutive year that TAL have won the top award, and the fifth time in the award’s 13 year history. TAL prevailed over other finalists: AIA, OnePath and Zurich.
To order to determine the winner, research house Strategic Insight measured the performance of Australian life insurance companies against key benchmarks, including:
- Financial Strength and Sustainability
- Market Sales Growth
- Premium Rates
- Premium Rates Volatility
- Quality of Terms and Conditions
- Service Quality
Other product awards announced at the same time were:
- Term/TPD Product Award Winner – AIA Australia
- Trauma Product Award Winner – BT
- Income Protection Product Award Winner – MLC Life
In announcing the awards Phil Kewin, AFA CEO, praised the winners, saying “These are the companies that are demonstrating a genuine commitment to innovating and improving their offer.”
