At the 13th Australian Insurance Industry Awards hosted by the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) and the Asia Insurance Review AMP was announced Life Insurance Company of the Year.
The judges indicated that the award recognized the focus by AMP on customer centricity and the work done in 2015 to deliver a stronger, more human-centred and empathetic claims process. In addition the award recognized AMP’s commitment to the community and work to improve the professionalism of the life insurance industry.
Finalists for award
The other finalists for the award were BT, MetLife and MLC. These companies were judged to have improved customer outcomes and transformed their insurance offerings.
